When we pray, many things are said or formulated.
Whatever they are, they are linked to desire or need.
The question is: should our desire be at the heart of prayer, or should we go beyond it and look for something beyond ourselves?
When you pray to be strong enough to build a house for homeless people in the town where you live and pray to become the owner of every house in the town where you live, there is a big difference and the final goal would be determinant in the outcome or realization of one or the other.
